If you can do only one activity in Newport, this is it. Sailing at sunset with a glass of champagne with the wonderful crew of Sloop Eleanor is the way to go. All members of the staff are extremely knowledgeable about the area and a joy to be around. The scenery is beautiful.

Our sail on Eleanor was so much fun! We had a large group of girls who absolutely loved it. Collin and the Captain Steve were excellent sailors, knowledgable about the area and made sure everyone on board had a great time!! They provided us facts and stories about local places, which was really cool. The drinks kept coming and were delicious, my friends loved the Dark and Stormy’s. The weather was beautiful, some girls forgot sweatshirts so Collin provided blankets. It was such a fun and cool experience. Everyone on the boat enjoyed themselves. The sailboat and scenery are beautiful, it was a perfect day. Everyone in our group would definitely go on another sail with Steve and Collin, they are awesome!!!

Decided to take a sail for Father’s Day last minute. Chose this boat due to very positive reviews. The sail was everything that was described and more. New boat, experienced crew and beautiful weather allowed for a memorable trip. Would do the trip again in a heartbeat.

We were playing tour guide for some friends from the UK and had an incredible sail on Adirondack II! The conditions set the tone for a fantastic experience. Crew was professional, knowledgable, personable & just plain fun! The winds were perfect…even a bit rambunctious and we had a gorgeous ride! Love sloop sailing and this matched and exceeded any experience I’ve had thus far ! Thank you so much …will be back for certain!

Everything was smooth sailing!! The captain and first mate were as friendly as could be with lots a insight. The views were incredible. I recommend it to everyone, especially the morning ride.

The Eleanor was a beautiful ride! A gorgeous new sailboat. The two “captains” were very friendly and knowledgeable. We got to enjoy the spectacular views and relaxing ride while learning some interesting facts. This is a must-do. I went on the 10:45 morning ride and it was just perfect with a mimosa. I would definitely do this again. The price was right, too!

A group of friends and I decided to treat my sister for a Morning Mimosa Sail in celebration of her birthday, and the sail around Newport made it one to remember, thanks to the captain and crew for making the experience super awesome!

The Fireworks sail was wonderful. Food and wine were wonderful and plenty. The crew was very friendly and interactive. The Captain did a great job of positioning the schooner for a fabulous view of the fireworks. I would enthusiastically recommend this trip.

The sunset cruise was a great way to enjoy the fireworks display in Newport. The crew on the boat was very professional and helpful, the food and drinks were delicious, and being out on the bay after sunset was a delightful way to enjoy the spectacular fireworks display.

My husband and I traveled from Chicago to Key West and secured a reservation on this Sunset Cruise. I would highly recommend it! The staff was very knowledgeable and had great senses of humor. We would come back again and again!!!

My husband and I were driving from Miami to Key West for a long weekend. We found the sunset sail on the chamber of commerce web site and bought tickets for the Saturday evening sail. We absolutely loved this incredible experience!!!!! The captain, crew and support staff were awesome! The sailboat was clean and comfortable and they provided liquid refreshments. This was the highlight of our trip and we will definitely do this again!

The boat ride was very relaxing, and the staff is courteous and generous with drinks. When it got a little chilly out, they were quick to bring us blankets. The sunset was gorgeous. We had a great time.

I did three sails with the Adironduck this fall, 2 in NYC (Sunset and Fall Foliage) and 1 Sunset trip in Key West. All the 3 of them were fantastic and I highly recommend them. The schooner is nice, the crew, I went with Andrew and his guys, is great and they provide a relaxed atmosphere far away from all the normal tourist staff! So, go for it, you will never forget these tours! Thank you very much!

My fiancee proposed to me on the morning mimosa sail. It was incredibly romantic. A terrific place to propose. The captain and crew were also remarkable. A wonderful, educational and all around enjoyable experience! I would highly recommend this attraction for anyone interested in spending a cool relaxing morning on the water.

I’d highly recommend this cruise. The views, drinks, and especially the crew are all great and make it a great time! Also, take it from someone who does tend to get seasick, you won’t get seasick on this cruise.

We set sail on an extremely windy day that was full of sun and just beautiful. The crew was very accommodating and hospitable. At the end of the sail, we were surprised to find out that sailing conditions had been tough, because the crew sailed through the weather seamlessly. I would definitely recommend this outing to friends and family!

The crew was terrific and was very knowledgable about the history of Newport Bay. The boat was nice on a windy day and got up to 5 knots. Thuroughly enjoyed myself.

My family consisted of 9 adults and 5 kids age ranges of 5-11 yrs. The crew was friendly and entertaining and the service was great. Great activity on a gorgeous day!

Group of 10 for the sunset sail could not have been any better. Staff was fun, efficient and so accommodating. Sunset and views added to the festivities.

We had people join us on the sunset sail a few days before our wedding, most of us were from out of town so it was a great initial get-together for people before the real wedding events. Lots of great pictures, lots of fun, and none of the people we worried about go seasick at all. Will probably go back again at some point.

We visited Newport for the long weekend and had a fantastic time and our sunset sail on the Schooner Adirondack II was the highlight of our weekend! The crew was incredibly helpful and friendly, the boat was clean and beautiful and the drinks were great. We would highly recommend this cruise to anyone!

This should be on your bucket list of things to do in Newport… There is nothing better than taking in the beauty of the water. The crew of the Adirondack II make the experience incredibly safe, fun, and second to none. It was a great way to spend part of an afternoon as well as see why people over the centuries have been drawn to the water here.

The boat left the dock on time, it was a great day for sailing and the crew raised the sails as soon as we were out of the channel. They provided an interesting and entertaining description of the local landmarks. And the price was quite reasonable. I highly recommend a sail on the Adirondack II.

We recently took that 3pm cruise on the Adirondack II and had a fantastic time. Four adults, four kids and the crew could not have been more friendly, knowledgable or accommodating. Despite being a full boat with several bachelorette parties, they managed the crowd with professionalism, answered all questions and made sure each person was comfortable and taken care of. We will definitely be back!

We did the Saturday morning mimosa sail with our adult children. Very friendly and professional staffing, just the right amount of sightseeing narration and plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and our visit.

My husband and I have been wanting to try this for a long time – we frequent Newport a few times a year. We were visiting the city with my parents and decided to book a tour. The morning Mimosa tour was absolutely amazing! The crew was energetic and fun, the views and history information were perfect – absolutely would recommend this to anyone! I brought my parents on the morning cruise while they were visiting from Montana. The captain and crew were very attentive and answered all of our many questions.The drinks were very reasonably priced. I would recommend this cruise without hesitation!

Of course, the weather was perfect which helped!! The crew was great fun, gave lots of interesting information along the way. I rarely have the opportunity to sail, and loved this! Only wish it was a bit longer, as I could easily enjoy an entire afternoon out there!

My wife and I were looking for a place with great views of the fireworks but we wanted to avoid the crowds and have a drink while we watch the display. Well, we found it. We booked the 8:30 PM trip on the Adirondack II. The boat is beautiful, the crew is professional and nice, and you cannot beat the view. There are about 25 other passengers on board with seats for all. Crew serves beer, wine, or champagne (included in ticket price) and lite snacks. We were also very fortunate because the weather was great. I have been on this boat, and the Madeline, and it is also a great way to tour Newport Harbor any time in the summer.

We had so much fun! Beautiful views of the Newport bridge and Fort Adams and we were right under the fireworks. The staff is very fun and accomodating. I highly reccommend any of the sails they offer, I have also done the father’s day and sunset sails in years past. It is always a good time.

Food and dessert were of gourmet quality. Scenery was awesome. An evening excursion on the Adirondack II is a great destination for a date or romantic getaway. Staff was very attentive, friendly and informative.

The entire sailing experience, from boarding to docking, was simply beautiful. We were fortunate enough to be able to view not only the masive mansions and their lush gardens, but also the towering masts of the Tall Ships sailing by! The crew was friendly, imformative and very entertaining! We have visited Newport many times prior to our most recent trip without ever getting on the water. In the future, we won’t leave Newport without going sailing!

This was one of the highlights of our trip, Captain Andy and his crew took care of us right from the beginning with sharing some stories about the area. It was an awesome experience cruising around the harbor seeing things you can’t see from land. I would highly reccomend this to anyone.

We took the sail with our kids and my mother-in-law. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The crew was very knowledgeable and clearly wanted passengers to feel comfortable and have a great experience. We’ll definitely sail again when we return to Newport.

Booked last minute with three others and we had a blast! The captains were informative and fun plus the drinks were cheap and good! I unfortunately spilt my drink immediately but they got me a new one for free. I will definitely sail again with them next time I am there!

The crew on the Rum Runner 2 was like going out on a cruise with close friends. Food, drinks, sunset and finally the fireworks! Don't miss this experience, by far the best way to see the Newport July 4th fireworks. Kids want to come back every year.

What a wonderful way to spend the fourth of July evening, on a boat in Narragansett Bay sitting under the fireworks. The crew was so accomodating, great food, drink and company onboard. Would highly recommend.
