Our group of six Long Islanders booked a boat to take us out to Narragansett Bay to watch the 4th of July fireworks while we were in Newport RI. To our surprise, rather than sharing the boat with 30+ other people we were put on the Sloop Eleanor. What a fantastic piece of equipment!! We had two Captains, Joe & Hadly, who were both amazing, a spread of fruits, cheeses and meats plus red wine, white, wine, Perseco and beer. The trip out to the bay was terrific, the fireworks…to die for and the trip back wonderful. The Hostess, Helen, was so friendly, helpful and accommodating and we all felt like she personally handled all the details for us alone. I highly recommend using Sailing Excursions whenever you’re in Newport as I am sure we will when we return next year.
